Field Recordings

On the 8th of this month I had the pleasure of playing with David Stackenäs in the historic city of York. We made up two thirds of a short trio, in which I played the drums, which was a bit of a relentless blaster but fun non the less. For someone who focuses so much on details it was a shame not to be able to get involved at that level but hopefully there will be chance to do some more playing down the line.
I also did a solo set of improvised coding, feedback and homemade crackle box. Will, who introduces me on the recording, recorded the set so I thought I should make use of it. It’s very ‘roomy’ as the recording was done through the inbuilt mic on Will’s tascam, but with sufficient volume on reasonable speakers it doesn’t sound too bad. I’ve cut the set up into four parts to make for easier downloads:
Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four
